The customers who contract Seven Selection’s services do not have to worry about nothing but enjoying themselves. This is the philosophy of this new company specialised in event management, based in Corralejo and with sights set beyond the borders of Fuerteventura.
Jusep López, with 10 years of experience as a dj, has been into the world of night life and hotels for a long time. After working in some legendary places in Corralejo, such as Tequila Beach, Waikiki and Banana, he decided to leap into the void and start a new project.
He found the perfect ally in Ubay Marrero. The two of them are the creators of Seven Selection, a 3-month old project that is already moving the first steps into the world of event management. «We like to mess around, to grow and make our lives more challenging», they state. So they came up with the idea and the necessary adrenaline to put it into action and not to pass it up.
Seven Selection was born out of the necessity to satisfy some needs that hadn’t been fulfilled till now, like installing sound and lighting systems during events properly and with good taste. The company offers packages including lighting, sound, video and photo services. But if customers need something else, Jusep and Ubay will take charge of it. One of their virtues is to take the worry out of their customers and, whatever they may need for any kind of event –caterings, live music, djs, performances, photographers–, they will find it in this company.
Jusep is in charge of the music; Ubay, the meticulous person of the project, is responsible for checking that all the details, even the tiniest ones, are in their right place.
Even though they’ve been buckling down to it for three months only, Seven Selection has already worked in some important events such as the Hindu New Year’s Eve or Diwali Ball, a party the Hindustani community uses to welcome the new year, or the Halloween party in Salitre Beach Club, where they placed their own booth. They were also present in birthday or private parties, like in Macaronesia’s, where they were in charge of the sound and lighting systems.
In the long run, Jusep and Ubay dream about organising their own festival. «Our intention is to have material enough to create a festival with lighting, sound and artists without having to outsource at all».
Meanwhile, they offer their services to organise events such as weddings and similar celebrations, and they are working with different hotels to put dj booths in their party rooms.
Moreover, making the most of the gold mine of cinema in Fuerteventura, they offer their services to film and advertising production companies, supporting them during filming with equipment, photo and video services…
