LANZAROTE IS PREPARING FOR THE CELEBRATION OF MALVASÍA VOLCÁNICA WEEKEND, ON 7TH AND 8TH JUNE, WITH MORE THAN 12 HOURS OF LIVE MUSIC.
Sonidos Líquidos is a festival with its own identity that combines the best of independent music with Lanzarote’s wines and gastronomy, in a unique environment such as La Geria and its wineries. The combination of these elements with the great atmosphere you feel once you set foot on this exceptional landscape makes the festival one of the most special at a national level.
This year, the format is the same as in 2018, with 2 days of concerts. On Friday 7th June, Second — plus another band that will be announced soon — performs during the opening show in Arrecife. These concerts have free entry.
But this will just be the beginning, because on the next day and starting from 4 pm, La Geria is going to become a utopian stage ready to welcome the Spanish band Viva Suecia and the American !!! (Chk Chk Chk), together with Delaporte, Colectivo Panamera, King Salami & The Cumberland 3, Zombie Love and some surprises still to unveil.

The organization of Sonidos Líquidos committed itself to sustainability and respect for the environment. For this reason, they are taking more and more actions to minimise the festival impact on the environment. Among them, one of the most relevant is the responsible use of public transport, and to this purpose they offer a bus service to get to La Geria; return ticket is €6. Moreover, with the aim of protecting this wonderful and delicate environment, they use renewable energy sources, implement recycling and use electric vehicles for the artists’ transfers.
In the past eight editions, the festival saw the participation of artists such as Vetusta Morla, León Benavente, Fuel Fandango, The Fratellis and Love of Lesbian, just to mention a few, and it has been attracting people from different parts of the world. Its peculiar format captured people from all over the Canary Islands, and also from various cities of Spain mainland and other countries like France, England, Germany, Italy or Ireland.
