It is no secret that the Canary Islands are a paradise for stargazing. In fact, La Palma is where one of the most important observatories in the world is. But Fuerteventura is not lagging behind.
In 2015 Fuerteventura was declared a Starlight Reserve, —the third of the Canary Islands, after La Palma and the peaks of Tenerife— due to the quality of the skies and the low light pollution.

To prove so, we collected these 10 spectacular images by photographers who are very passionate and in love with the beauty of the night skies in this amazing island.
