A pleasant walk with a dream dip
To reactivate the body, after a good breakfast, we suggest going for a nice walk by the promenade that surrounds El Castillo beach from end to end, reaching to the natural pool to the north.
This gem of nature that the coast of Fuerteventura hides is one of the most searched for spots on the island and when you see it you’ll know why: immersing oneself in crystal-clear waters, with the open ocean in front of you is a magical sensation. Remember to check the sea condition before the visit, since it is a treasure that only appears at low tide.
The Majorero taste: sea, land and goat
The walk and the swims in the pool will probably whet your appetite, so it is time to eat something. The restaurant choice in Caleta de Fuste is huge and they offer all kinds of food. But if you feel like getting to know some local gastronomy, try ‘papas arrugadas con mojo’ (potatoes boiled with their skin in sea salt served with spicy sauce), the Majorero goat cheese, fresh fish, octopus in different styles, the delicious tomatoes of the island… a fiesta for your palate!

Get up with energy for a fun morning of water activities. Having a walk by the promenade to the port, you will find the famous Castillo de San Buenaventura, a tower built in the 18th century to defend the island from pirate attacks. Today it is an emblem of Fuerteventura’s architecture and history.
Once you are at the marina, the choice of activities to enjoy in the sea is endless: pedal boats, jet skis, paddle surf, windsurf, a trip on catamaran to watch the whales and dolphins that live in the area, scuba diving…
Even a submarine for the joy of the little ones! Choose the way that you prefer to enjoy this sea of calm waters full of life.

After so much activity it is time to relax. A well-deserved break on El Castillo beach: a sunbed, an umbrella, the sound of the sea, the caress of the sun´s rays, a quiet swim… a moment of peace.
