It is no secret that the Canary Islands are a paradise for stargazing. In fact, La Palma is where one of the most important observatories in the world is. But Fuerteventura is not lagging behind.

In 2015 Fuerteventura was declared a Starlight Reserve, —the third of the Canary Islands, after La Palma and the peaks of Tenerife— due to the quality of the skies and the low light pollution.

When the night has come and Fuerteventura is dark, and the moon is the only light we’ll see… The sky is filled with stars, the Milky Way or a breathtaking full moon shows up to create the magical and unique atmosphere of every night in Fuerteventura.
