After the success of the first edition, in which 220 restaurants took part, the second edition of this route is taking place all through the island. It?s about a gastronomy event which all the municipalities in this island have joined and there will also be a draw with very tasty prizes for those who take part in the tasting of delicious snacks from the different restaurants participating in this contest.

MORE AWARDS, RESTAURANTS AND MANY NOVELTIES IN THE SECOND EDITION

Last February, Snacks festivals were celebrated in Antigua and Tuineje, and in March and April we?ll be able to enjoy some more in the other three municipalities of Fuerteventura:

? ?De Tapa en Tapa por P?jara?, from March 7th-16th.
? ?Feria de la Tapa de Puerto del Rosario?, from March 21st- 30th.
? ?Ruta de la Tapa de La Oliva?, from April 4th-13th.

As a novelty, for this second edition, every Thursday, Friday and Saturday, within the festival in each municipality, you?ll be offered a cold and a hot snack for just ?2,50 each, drink included (water, wine, beer or soft drink)

HOW CAN YOU TAKE PART IN THE CONTEST ?RUTA DE LAS TAPAS? IN FUERTEVENTURA?

If you also want to participate in the draw that will take place on the closing day (April 27th 2019), get the Route?s leaflet (in very establishment taking part in it or in the townhall in each municipality); vote every snack you?ve tasted (cold and hot) and once you?ve tasted them ask the restaurant to stamp or sing in the pertinent box.
As a novelty in this second edition there?ll be more awards, distributed in three big lots.

? To take part in the first lot draw, you?ll need to enjoy and stamp at least 5 establishments in each municipality.
? For the second lot you?ll need at least 9.
? For the third one, you?ll need to vote the ?tapas? of 12 establishments.

Trips to Madrid, Valladolid, touring the islands or abroad, stays in the best hotels in the island and even short holidays in La Gomera are some of the prizes you can choose by taking part.
The leaflets, properly filled in, will be cast into a box whose location will be brought out in the social nets of the Route.
The five finalists of each type of snack (cold and hot) will be chosen out of those popular votes. Then it will be the jury, made up by professionals in the gastronomy field, who will choose the winners among the 10 finalists.

A unique opportunity to delight the palate and find out restaurants and snacks, also promoting the island gastronomy, as the criteria to bear in mind when it comes to voting are the ingredients quality, presentation, pricing, flavour and presence of local products.
