Once more, El Cotillo becomes the epicentre of arts with the third edition of Cotilleando Festival, which will fill the streets of the old town with people, performances, music and excitement on October 13th and 14th.

Cotilleando will bring, in its third edition, over 40 artists from differents countries what with French, Ecuadorian, Spanish, Italian, Russian or Swiss who, together with some local artists, will offer performances of diverse disciplines, circus shows, music, dance and handicrafts.

Downtown streets will be the stage where the itinerant festival will take place, and it promises to turn El Cotillo into the ideal place for entertainment and for the enjoyment of the senses and the magic.

The event, an initiative by Stefy Faga, has seen the third year in a row thanks to the support by La Oliva town council, Fuerteventura island Council and also by? different businesses in El Cotillo, but mainly thanks to the good reception the festival has among the inhabitants from the North, visitors who are very sensitive to performing arts, and the participation of about 50 art and show lovers.

?WALK ALONG THE OLD TOWN, KEEP ON SEARCHING THROUGH LITTLE ALLEYS AND THE DOCK, ART AND MAGIC ARE AWAITING YOU. DON?T MISS IT, IT?S COTILLEANDO!?

The appointment with the itinerant festival in the old town is on Saturday 13th . From 20:00 to 23:30 the artistic show will reach all the corners of the pedestrian area thanks to a line-up of top protagonists: Tiphaine Rochais and Daniele Sorisi will offer their acrobatics in a hand in hand show; Paolo Locci, with his character ?Hobo? will leave all the attendants flabbergasted with his skills on the aerial pole. The local musician, Domingo Saavedra and the duet ?De Vera Twins? will be in charge of turning the village streets into a pleasure for the ears.

Moreover, the broad programme foreseen for Saturday includes the shows ?Acrobacias en alambre y canto? by Manu Annoni, Juan Cabrera ?contemporary dancer fusing dance and countryside, this year accompanied by Denislav Valentinov? and the urban dance team ?The Queens?; the musical performances with Bass Rubes by Aceysele Chac?n; the artistic creations by Miguel ?ngel Chac?n and the circus magic by the clown Chan Chan Pimienta and Mayte on top of her stilts; we can even enjoy the live graffiti arts by Werens.

On Sunday 14th, and as a novelty in this third edition, from 17:30 the young artists will be the protagonists. Acrobatic performances, music and a staging of ??xodo? ?choreography and contemporary dance workshop? will fill the dock area with life and wit.

To end, the final show ? Mareas Vivas? will begin at 18:30, an unprededented work where all the artists in the line-up of Cotilleando in this third edition will take part. Music, circus, dance and other artistic disciplines mix up in a medley directed by the circus artist Sandro Sassi, with the charming ?Muelle Chico? as stage, and the dusk in El Cotillo as background. The outcome will be fascinating.
