One more year, El Cotillo is filled with art, magic and fun in the fourth edition of the Artistic Festival, Cotilleando. Circus, Dance, Music, Theatre and Crafts are the artistic disciplines that standout in this singular event which takes place in the beautiful and charming old town on October 12th and 13th.

Cotilleando is an event for all ages, gathering magic and harmony in such a peculiar stage as the old town of El Cotillo, where the moon light, the stars and the roaring of the sea accompany the audience in an artistic, animated and fun tour.
National or international artists (Peru, Chile, Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Argentina, Bulgaria, Italy, Spain and The Canary Islands) will show their art by surprising the audience that, warm and willing, admires with joy and astonishment the different performances and shows that will take place around the different improvised stages of the Old Town. It?s such a special festival that even some neighbours in the town take part in it, performing in the different corners of El Cotillo.
The peculiarity of Cotilleando is exactly the wow factor. It?s about wandering freely around the old town driven by the music and being surprised by the different performances, acrobatics, dance and live creations the artists will be developing. Artists and shows will adapt to the different natural stages this charming town offers us, using their magic to enliven the performances.

And if you miss anything, don?t worry, you?ll be able to enjoy a bit of everything in the great final show on Sunday.
This fourth edition brings us most varied performances, such as Yuri Bussi with his giant, tiny and different shape and colour bubbles, accompanied by a magic story and the soft notes by Marilina Dobreva?s wonderful violin; very special also, the breath-taking hair hanging performance by Marta Camuffi ; and one more year we?ll enjoy the great Jos? Luis Redondo, – who made us laugh so much in the first edition with the character ?Ricky, the tennis instructor? and comes back with his a new show, ?Ye Orbayu?, accompanied by another great artist, Jorge Albuerne; and many more performances and surprises by over 30 artists coming from all over the world? you can?t miss it!
Sunday evening is full of activities such as workshops for all those who want to take part in and try the different disciplines that characterize Cotilleando: face painting, several exhibitions?
And, of course, the unpublished great final show, ?Efecto atardecer?, run by the renowned artistic director Roberto Magro, an exclusive one-hour long creation for the Festival which is already a classic in Cotilleando to close such a special event and where we?ll enjoy most of Saturday?s performances, mixed up with harmony and accompanied by live music in a unique and exciting story.

The festival starts on Saturday 12th at 19h30 in La Plaza Antigua in El Cotillo, followed by another one in El Casco Viejo (pedestrian area) where the different performances will be taking place.
On Sunday 13th the activities will start at 17h00 in La Plaza Antigua, and the closing ceremony of the festival will be at 18h30 on the same stage.
